A library, not a store.

The Pet Peptide Ledger exists because the research on peptides in dogs, cats, and horses is genuinely exciting — and genuinely hard to read. The studies live in journals. The owner conversations live in forums and comment threads. Almost nothing lived in between, in plain English, organized the way an owner would look for it. So we built the in-between.

We are a small group of owners, breeders, and research nerds. Nobody here sells peptides, supplements, or anything else — that's a house rule, and it's what lets us write about this space the way it deserves: enthusiastically, specifically, and without a checkout button at the bottom of every page. There are no ads, no affiliate links, and no sponsored files.

Every file in the library does three things: it summarizes what the published research actually looked at (and in which species), it reports what the owner community is talking about and why, and it gives you the questions worth bringing to your veterinarian. We name the species of every study we cite, and we say so when the evidence is early-stage. Exciting and accurate are not opposites.

What you won't find here: protocols. We don't publish amounts, schedules, or preparation instructions of any kind — those are conversations for a licensed veterinarian who has met your animal, full stop. If you came looking for that, the most useful thing in this library is the research itself and the questions to take to your vet.
